Band Booster Meeting
The first BHS Band Boosters meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, September 7th, at 5:30 pm, in the band room at Blacksburg High School. The meeting will cover fund raising, festival and football schedules, and chaperon logistics. The meeting will end at 6:30 pm. Every Marching Band parent and guardian is encouraged to attend.

The calendar has been updated with concert and symphonic band dates. There is also a listing of games and festivals for marching band and performances and special auditioned ensembles for concert and symphonic band.

The Blacksburg High School band has commissioned Virginia Tech music faculty member Travis Cross to compose an original concert score to commemorate BHS's induction into the Virginia High School Band Hall of Fame.

Retired BHS Band Director Dr. Diana Love has challenged all "Warrior Band" and "Bruin Band" Alumni to donate $5 for each year they were in an honor band.
